Prayer is, literally, speaking with God. Psalm 4:3, tells us,
"Mark this well: The Lord has set apart the redeemed for Himself. Therefore
He will listen to me and answer when I call to Him."
Prayer is an awesome privilege. Hebrews 4:16, tells us to,
"come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive
His mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need."
Even though the power of prayer can not be denied, sometimes Satan, that old
devil, whispers in our ear and tells us that we are unworthy. He wants us to
believe that our problems, or our sins are too great for our loving God to take
time to listen.
